Greetings, good to be back again!

Such a long time, struggling in lockdown as a sole carer for my disabled husband. Interesting, how we have managed, isolated in a top floor flat for such a long time, but still talking, still happy together.

After his many health scares during the almost two years of this strange world, I am now returning to writing, working on my books for adults, and making my paperbacks available in other parts of the world.

The first book to be available in this way is Candle Dark, and I shall have River Dark, the sequel, as an eBook next week. I've entered the eBook version of River Dark into Kindle Select.

Now to read your posts and find out what has happened to you all.

  1. Well I never (as some say). Do you know that there is a little town/village by the name of Clun? A delightful little place, but not too many miles away from Shrewsbury. I will read your blogposts to find out more about you.
I too was the sole carer for my disabled husband but he has died and I am rather lost and lonely now.
    Greetings from Clun

  2. Oh, hello, so sorry to hear that you are alone now, so very sad and I feel for you. Yes, I know Clun very well, my sister lived there for sometime, how long have you lived there?
    Kind regards, Carole.

  3. It is really nice to see another post from you - and to learn that despite your struggles you are still happy together. I am thrilled that you are returning to writing too.

  4. Hi Carole - yes so good to see you back ... and to see that all is well and you've been coping. Wonderful to see the children reading your book ... and to know you're writing again. Thanks for your visit ... cheers Hilary

  5. Good to hear from you! Yes, it has been a strange two years but glad the two of you have come through it. Congratulations on the upcoming release.

  6. Welcome back dear! Its great to hear from you. Lovely Post dear! xoxo

  7. Glad you are back! It has been a crazy scary and hard two years, for sure. Writing is my own therapy. Someday, a book?

Taking offence!
